Your First Appointment

Our first meeting with you will set in motion a comprehensive dental plan designed specifically for you. It is extremely important for you to know what we will be recommending for your long-term goals.

The following initial procedures are necessary for us to give you the service excellence you deserve:

Medical Questionnaires (forms) to help us understand any past history of problems and/or allergies to prescribed medications

• A panographic x-ray, which gives a complete picture of your teeth and jaw in one picture
• A full-mouth series of x-rays, which is used primarily to isolate cavities and decay
• A comprehensive examination of each tooth to identify areas of concern
• A personal meeting with Dr. McCormick to review the x-rays and examination findings and to discuss with you any immediate concerns or needs you have

Your first visit will be approximately two hours. This ensures that there is enough time to give you the best care and special attention you deserve. Please contact my well trained staff to schedule an appointment or ask any questions you may have. We understand that life can be busy and we will work with you to find a convenient time for your visit.

Your Second Appointment

Your second visit with us is traditionally a one-on-one consultation with Dr. McCormick who will have spent time in an in-depth review of your x-ray and examination data. This forum is designed to be a time for you to have your questions answered and determine the ultimate cost of the procedures you agree to have done.

If needed, time will also be allotted for you to meet with our Business Manager to discuss terms of payment and/or financing options.

Hygiene Appointments

We recommend setting appointments to meet with our hygienists once every 6 months. These preventative visits are used not only to help keep your teeth and gums at their best, but are also great for identifying newly developed conditions.
